Murcia will host the 5th Congress Costa Cálida Region of Murcia Sport Business.
Among the speakers, the presence of Álvaro Arbeloa, Teresa Perales, Miguel Ángel López and Teresa Portela
It will be held on November 10th at the Teatro Circo Murcia whilst also including the Universae-Sport Business World Sports Spirit Awards presentation.
This year will see the participation of well-known personalities from the world of women’s and men’s sports such as Álvaro Arbeloa, former soccer player and coach of Real Madrid C.F’s Juvenil A team, Teresa Perales, swimmer and Paralympic medalist, 2021 Princess of Asturias Award for Sports, Teresa Portela canoeist and silver medalist at the Tokyo Olympics, and the Murcian athlete Miguel Ángel López, once world champion, twice in Europe and four times chosen as the best Spanish athlete, among other achievements.
In addition, a large round table on Sport and Tourism will be held highlighting the Region of Murcia as an ideal location to host sporting events. Juan Francisco Martínez, Director of ITREM, has assured that “sport is one of the great claims of the Region and serves as an attractor for thousands of people to come and enjoy our land and soak up our culture, gastronomy and our customs, generating opportunities and also jobs”.
Francisco Sánchez, Director General of Sports, also participated in this morning’s press conference, highlighting that “Holding sports conferences like this one, with top-level national speakers, reflects the great sporting moment that the Region of Murcia is going through”.
This edition will have important novelties, the presentations will be concentrated in the morning session and the afternoon session will be moved to the blue room of the Real Casino de Murcia where the Universae – Sport Business World Sports Spirit Awards will be presented. In addition, the music and performing arts company Belter Souls will offer various performances throughout the day.
Tickets can now be purchased on the event’s website https://costacalidasportbusiness.com/ at a reduced initial price of 10 euros (until October 30, when they will increase to 20 euros), and it is noteworthy that everything raised with the Ticket sales will go entirely to the Never Surrender Cancer Sports Foundation of Dr. Vladimir Salazar, a pioneering project for the benefit of cancer patients. The foundation seeks to create a safe space run by specialists, where cancer patients can perform physical strength training focused on reducing the symptoms of the disease and improving their quality of life.
